Hi, I’m Lauren.
Aside from being a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist, my favorite role is being a mom to my three adventurous kiddos. They keep me laughing, learning, and growing every single day. They’re the reason I understand what it feels like to worry about your kids, to celebrate the smallest wins, and to want answers when something just doesn’t feel right. I’ve lived that mix of emotions myself.
I’ve worked in pediatrics for over fifteen years, and while that experience has shaped how I support families, it’s really the conversations with parents and the moments with kids that matter most to me. I care far more about what works in real life than giving cookie cutter advice that is often useless. I want to know your child’s story and what you’re seeing at home so we can figure out what will actually help.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple. I want families to feel happier and more connected and I want kids to feel good in their bodies. I love helping kids learn to listen to themselves because that’s something that can support them for the rest of their lives. And I love helping moms feel confident and supported as they navigate everything that comes with raising a child.
I won’t pretend to have every answer right away but I will always keep digging until we understand what’s going on beneath the surface. When my own family was struggling, I didn’t have the support I needed and I remember how isolating that felt. That experience is a big part of why I do this now. I want parents to feel like they have someone in their corner who truly cares and won’t give up.
If you’re here, you’re probably looking for clarity or reassurance or simply someone who gets it. I’m glad you found your way in because we’ll figure it out together.

One of the biggest things that has shaped my work is understanding just how deeply the gut influences everything about a child’s health. I’m endlessly fascinated by the microbiome and how it talks to the immune system, the brain, and even a child’s mood, sleep, focus, and behavior. When the gut is balanced, kids tend to thrive. And when something is off, it often shows up long before a stomachache ever does.
I love helping families connect these dots because once you understand how the gut affects the whole child, everything starts to make more sense. It becomes easier to figure out why symptoms are happening and what the body is trying to say.

Another area I’m passionate about is genomics. I like to think of it as a child’s personal blueprint. It doesn’t tell us who they are or what their future holds, but it does give gentle clues about their natural strengths and the areas where they may need more support.
Genomics can help us understand things like how well they detoxify, how their body handles stress, what nutrients they may burn through quickly, and where they might be more prone to inflammation. I use this information to guide care in a way that is personal and proactive instead of guessing or taking a one-size-fits-all approach. It helps us support the child’s biology so they can feel their best as they grow.
I’m also passionate about helping kids detox in a gentle, practical way. Detox isn’t about doing anything extreme. It’s simply supporting the body so it can clear what it doesn’t need. Kids today are exposed to so much, and when those pathways get overwhelmed, it often shows up as mood shifts, skin issues, tummy trouble, or feeling “off.”
I love showing families how small changes can make a big difference, supporting drainage, lightening the toxic load, and creating an environment where the body can function the way it was meant to. For many kids, these simple detox foundations are the missing step that helps everything else start to improve.
